It is now a LEGAL requirement that all captive bred birds of prey have a Captive Breeding Certificate so please use our rings, our certificate, and our identification scheme as part of your birds welfare programme. What will I receive? you will receive the following: 1: Closed Rings (all closed rings are supplied in strings of 10 rings). All of our rings have a unique identity and number and are not year marked. 2: Captive Breeding / ID-Ring Registration Certificate: to be kept by you and passed to the new keeper. This is a dual purpose Certificate, the Captive Breeding section has to be filled in and kept by "you" the breeder. 10 copies of the unique Certificate will be sent out to you with your order [1 per ring]. Is the Certificate easy to fill in? The Captive Breeding Certificate and the 'optional' ID-Ring Registration part at the bottom of the certificate is very easy to fill. The service is quick and efficient, there is no need to send anything back to us by post. You can even register for the 'optional' ID-Ring Registration of your bird(s) online in a couple of minutes, it's that easy. When you sell your bird, you simply hand over the complete Captive Breeding / ID-Ring Certificate to the new owner, so that the new owner also has the information available to update the Registration System with his/her contact details.

Split rings are for "closed rung or mature birds" that do not have a Ring Identification System in place. The ring automatically works as a "return-if-lost" mechanism. When you purchase a split ring from Identity Rings Europe, it automatically includes FULL Certified Registration. What will I receive when I purchase a Split Ring? 1: Split Ring (all split rings are supplied individually). All of our rings have a unique identity and number and are not year marked. 2: ID-Ring Registration Certificate: This unique Certificate will be sent out to you with your split ring. The Certificate must be kept by you and passed to any new keeper of the bird in the future. When you receive your Ring and Registration Certificate, it is important that you EMAIL or PHONE Identity Rings Europe with the contact details that you would like used in the event of your bird being lost. Your details are held in strict confidence. Easy Solutions: Our service is quick and efficient, there is no need to send anything back to us by post. When you sell your bird, you simply hand over the ID-Ring Certificate to the new owner, so that the new owner also has the information available to update the Registration System with his/her contact details.
